Bear & Birch Brand Identity
Brand Identity, Motion Design, Publication Design
During my junior year, I delved into the field of brand identity. Given the choice between branding a real company or creating an imaginary one, I chose to create a fictitious fashion line. In the fashion world, there is a lack of financial accessibility to high-end designs, so I created a brand called Bear & Birch that provides affordable and socially-responsible styles that are rarely seen off of the runway.
Over the course of the semester, I explored possible brandmark designs, created typographic lockups and signatures, animated the brandmark, and extended the brand identity to print, digital, and environmental applications. The project closed with the design of a brand identity publication that summarizes both the visual language of Bear & Birch and my work during the semester.
