I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania before moving to Columbus, Ohio to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Design in Visual Communication Design at The Ohio State University. I recently graduated and am most interested in publication design, exhibition design, and textile design.
I completed minors in History of Art as well as Women's, Gender, & Sexuality studies. I like to draw inspiration from historical eras and love to connect my passion for design with my interest in social justice. My senior thesis project is an example of my interdisciplinary design!
In my spare time, I read, write, dance, sew, and spend time with friends, family, and animals. (That's my cat, Mary Russell, on the left. She's named after a book character.) I also love to travel, especially to Budapest, where I spent a month during the summer of 2017 through an OSU study abroad program.
I am incredibly hardworking and hold my work to a high standard. I learn quickly, pay close attention to detail, and have strong aesthetic instincts. I work well both independently and as a part of a group, thanks to my organizational skills and ability to communicate clearly.
